Bree Ann discovered her passion at an early age by cooking for friends and family. She then went on to attend the Iowa Culinary Institute in 2008. Upon graduation, she made her mark on the food scene in Des Moines, Iowa, from being named Cityview Magazine’s  2011 Rising Chef Star of The Year to hosting her own series of private gourmet dinners. In 2012 Bree Ann moved to the San Francisco Bay area to refine her own personal style and experience California’s rich bounty.

With her time in Sonoma County, Bree Ann worked for several top-rated chefs and restaurateurs, from The Cindy Pawlcyn Group to The Applewood Inn and Forage SF. After over ten years of traditional restaurant experience Bree Ann developed an urge to create something for herself and give back.

From 2015-2019 Bree Ann worked with the Sebastopol Community Center leading culinary aspect of fundraising events, and started working as their adjunct Culinary Arts instructor for Twin Hills Middle School. Here, she developed and implemented a new culinary program. With the support of  administration and the SCCC grant funding was secured to build a brand new teaching kitchen.

More recently, Bree Ann has been inspired by sharing the importance of simplicity and sustainability. When she is not in the kitchen, Bree Ann is spending most of her  days working with her husband on their farm in Mendocino, where inspiration grows alongside organic produce.

From her classical French training to the influence of Northern California, Bree Ann’s passion is reflected through her natural grace and ability not only in the kitchen but also within the community.
